Maybe you can verify your playback settings in FCPX preferences. I have read that if it’s not set on “high quality”, export doesn’t override it.

you can match frame your clips : be sure to have the event browser in filmstrip view to recover your in&out.
Then you can tag it as rejected for example, or any keyword you want. Then in the event browser you can choose “show only rejected”, or choose the keyword collection created by choosing a keyword for your unwanted clips. -

It’s a role the role should play IMHO.
But indeed I don’t see a way to do this to a cluster of clips, directly in the inspector.
You can break apart some clips in the timeline, but then lose the benefit of grouped audio/video.
And with differents roles to each channel, you could mute or solo all your HF track without even expanding or breaking apart the audio, even without selecting the clips.
You also can do “open in timeline” to clips, BUT one by one.
But there should be a way, in the inspector, like we can disable CH1 or CH2, to assign a specific role to one channel only, and another to the other channel.

Yes, but not a different role for each audio track… That’s what I’m looking for.

Is it possible to export Audio Roles including “handles” like in OMF exports ?

I may be wrong, but I think the question is about playing selection in the timeline, not in the event browser.
I’m not comfortable either in selecting areas on the timeline, not on a clip.
