DVD is 720×480 only. Those QT didn’t import because they are 1280×720. You should be using Compressor to Encode your QTs – NEVER just drop a QT into DVDSP and let it doing the Encoding.

Take them into Compressor and encode 16×9.

This should be on the demos forums…but

Basically very boring. Titles are boring and sometimes out of title safe. I guess you need interviews. Also work on your lower 2/3. Spice it up a little – needs graphics. Don’t take my criticism to bad…you should see the crap I produced in College 🙂

Don’t worry Brett…in 10 years you’ll look back at this project again and say ” OMG…what was I thinking?” 🙂

No..they aren’t Apples and Oranges. MPEG 1 is more like the bitter Apples that grow in my background from the tree I never water and MPEG 2 are the Apples you buy from an organic apple farmer.

Your Client can’t have it both ways. Either they want MPEG 1 with its smaller resolution and bitrates or MPEG 2.

Yeah..make sure the player has its updates. Its hard to say without doing some experimentation. Try another player if you can. Another disc wouldn’t hurt either.

Does your disc contain a BDMV folder or a BDAV folder?

Blu Ray isn’t like DVD where you feed some HD footage and it pops out a disc that you know will play in all players. Your bitrates sound OK. What audio format is on the disc?

What are you using to author Toast or Encore? What player is used at the bear center?

Little late but I figured it out. Slice the image – export for web and devices (image only).

Won’t ever happen on current burners and burnable formats. There is a new technology from Sonic Solution. Called Q-Flix, it allows adding CSS encryption to burnable media. The catch is there needs to be special upgrades to burners and special writable media.
