    Somehow, after everytime i use the program, 100-200 mb of my disk gets filled up. It is not much but filling up my small SSD slowly and it will be a problem in the future if it continues this way. 🙂

    @Kalle Kannisto

    Do you think those out-lines are hand-drawn frame by frame?

    This is weird. Did u try to use Supersampling and Enhanced Multisampling? And is your e3d layer’s quality switch set to Best? Also can you maximize the composition panel and look again? May be one of those help.

    Did you enable the collapse transformations switch of your nested comp?

    You might also want to try to put that two layers (black solid and text) directly into the master comp instead of nesting (embedding) them as a comp.

    Yes, i tried precomposing, Jonathan. I think, if it was about precomposing, it wouldn’t have work fine with 8bpc either. But it does. (I tried it on an adjustment layer too. It didn’t help.)

    In this case i definitely want motion blur after the shatter effect. Otherwise the result is undesirable.

    What do you mean by “Af”?

    That way i am able to get an extruded text. But the letters are shattered as a whole. What i am after is to shatter this extruded text into “bricks” or say “puzzle”. Yet, we are unable to select those options when “Custom” is selected.

    May be the result i am after is just not possible to achieve with Shatter?

    @Kevin Camp

    I tried what you told. I set the Side Mode to “Color”. Nothing happened. Then i also selected a comp sized solid as Side Layer, it didn’t work either. This is what i am getting:

  • If i am not getting it wrong, it is possible. Just add a Scale animator by using the “Add” menu. Create your animation the same way and adjust the timing of the keyframes so that the Scale animation starts and end after the Position animation.
