Hi guys thanks for the response but im still having trouble, let me try to explain.

I dont know why but a couple of weeks ago i could view my footage on my monitor via my kona Lhe, nice and clear with the set up 1080i 25 10 bit uncompressed now i cant?
Anway my footage is progressive and not interlaced and there is no easy setup for 1080p 25? it will however play back when i select any of the 720p setups but the picture looks all flickery, the only set up which has a clear picture is the 1080psf 24 10 bit uncompressed setting but this wont play back just updates when i move the time line, so it looks like i need to use a ajakona 1080p 25 set up which dosent seem to exist?

I cant export from QT because its greyed out, and i have QT pro its like the file is protected or something?

thanks Randy I will give that a go, Im new to bodypaint and im thinking of scrapping the uv export idea and doing all my painting in bodypaint directly, the biggest problem im having is painting across the polygons, i want to be able to do this smoothly, is there perhaps a good tutorial you could recommend?

hi thanks ive used the weight too it helps a bit, but still the body is distorting and the legs are squashing in could i perhaps cut the wings off animate them then use bridge too to join back to birds body?
im new to mocca and this is doin me head in, if you have any other thoughts please let me know.

I find that i can lasso big chunks of my time line and change the composite mode except when you go across transitions it wont work? but i can live with that, all the best emmet

Have you tried deleting your fcp preferences and restarting making sure you turn on your camera first before you turn on your system?
If you play your timeline can you hear and see your video if yes you could always just crash your time line to tape?
Before you print to tape check your audio video settings a/v devices check your different output for print to video box.

thanks for the response, yep im in europe Ireland i think i will go for the Ex-1 cuz ive also heard the JVC can be problematic when used in editing with FCP.

Something like this happened to me once, I went back to another computer with an older os system and i opened my project i selected the sequence that wouldent open with the newer os system and i media managed it i made a copy of the sequence onto an external hard drive and then i copied that back onto my other other mac with the newer os system and it worked.
