    Hi all
    i have modeled a stork type bird with outstretched wings and i want to make it fly i have rigged it using mocca, i only want the wings to flap the problem is when i move my controllers to flap the wings the body of the bird gets stretched in the process what can i do to fix this problem ?

    Sounds like the weighting from your joints is crossing over on to the body mesh. It happens if you just use the autoweight.

    If you select a joint select the weight tool you should see some color on the body then you can just paint it away. (ctrl click to erase)

    hi thanks ive used the weight too it helps a bit, but still the body is distorting and the legs are squashing in could i perhaps cut the wings off animate them then use bridge too to join back to birds body?
    im new to mocca and this is doin me head in, if you have any other thoughts please let me know.
