Those words were brought in as a sequence of images, and then set to Random Start Frame so that each particle would use a different word. So if you want to make your own words, you’ll need to save them with a sequential naming convention (word001.jpg, word002.jpg, word003.jpg, etc)
If you click the Export Shape button on the Change Shape tab, you’ll get the original sequence exported. Then you can just save your word images over top of the words you want to replace, and reimport the shape. Keep what you want, discard what you don’t.

Thanks a lot, Walter! I think I’m all sorted out now.

I can’t say for certain, but shouldn’t be long. If you like you can email me and I’ll notify you when the discs arrive.

Check what the Tint Strength graph is set to, as the Tint colour may be affecting the hue of your particles. That’s the most likely culprit in a situation where you aren’t getting the colours you’ve set.

Are you using version 3.02? That sounds like you may have the problem some people had in 3.01 with uncompressed AVIs, which should’ve been fixed by 3.02.

The only suggestion I can give since the animation is moving that fast, is to double the length of the animation, then import it into your editing program as 60 fps. Then you’ll at least have an extra keyframe to play with between each of those points at the end.
If you do try that, remember to double your Life and halve your Velocity.

What do you mean by edges? Do you mean that the motion is in straight lines? If you want to curve the path the emitter moves along, you can alt-click on the points to turn them into curves, or right-click on the emitter and choose Record Position to record the movements of your mouse as animation.

What’s probably happening now is that you’re stage window isn’t open as large as 1440×1080, and so it’s rendering a smaller version.
From the FAQ:
particleIllusion can only render what is on screen, so the stage window must be 640×480 to render out a file at 640×480. You’ll need to resize the stage window until it is large enough to show the entire stage area, which you can do by clicking and dragging the dividers between the windows. In particleIllusion 3.0 you can use the ‘Load Layout’ function (from the ‘View’ menu) or the Alt-3 (Cmd-3 on Mac) shortcut to maximize the stage window. But considering you’re rendering to HD, you’ll probably need to use pIRender to output your video. It’s a stand alone program that installed along side particleIllusion. Just open up the project in there and render.

I think you’d better email wondertouch support on this, as its not something I have a solution for and I’m not sure when Alan returns from LA.

If you say no and resize the stage size manually, does the same thing happen, or is it only at that prompt?
