A few things to check:

1. What video card are you using and what version of the video driver?

If it is an ATI/AMD card, right-click a blank area of the desktop. There should be an “AMD Control Center” type entry listed there. Click on that. On the screen that opens, scroll down to the bottom of the left side, click on “Information”, and then click on “Software Update”. You should now see on the right where it says “AMD Catalyst” and gives the version installed. What version does it say? The current Catalyst version is 12.2

If it is an nVidia card, right-click a blank area of the desktop and choose “NVIDIA Control Panel”. On the screen that opens, go to Help – System Information. The first entry in the big scrolling window that opens reads “Driver Version”. What version does it say? The current version is 296.10.

2) What build of Titler Pro do you have installed? The newest version can be found here:

3. What build of Vegas do you have installed? The current version is 594/595.

In Titler Pro, you actually CAN add multiple transitions. Just drag whichever transitions you want down to the beginning of the title on the timeline track and they will both be applied.

Tiffany, all of the NewBlue products fully support Vegas Pro 11 both 32-bit and 64-bit and both the older API and the newer OpenFX API.

Lance, the upgrade from the previous version 1.4/2.4 to the new 3.0 version is $20. That’s not reasonable?

I understand if you own 10 of the products then to upgrade all 10 would be $200. However, what if you only upgrade the slowest ones? Or the ones you use most? But $20 to upgrade is a very fair price.

The full retail price is just marginally higher than it previously was on the new versions. Plus watch for special pricing offers which let you get them for even less!

I’m really surprised to see anyone talking about NewBlue prices as they are definitely very reasonable for everything you get.

Excalibur can do this using the “Fix Bad Frame” tool It can be use to duplicate from a previous frame or the next frame. If you had two bad frames in a row, you would need to run with the previous frame for the first frame replace and the next frame for the second frame replace.

You have that window docked. In the upper left corner, look for the column of dots. Click on those dots and drag away from the docking area.

That makes no sense to me. Of course you can use it! There’s at least three options:

1. Use Vegas Pro 11 – who says “it’s not ready for prime time” – it’s definitely working for me!

2. BUY the retail version of Titler Pro – it will work fine in Vegas Pro 10 but, yes, you will have to pay for it.

3. Use Vegas Pro 11 to create titles, render them out, and then drop them into any other version of Vegas.
