Out of curiosity, what happens if you paste the text into Notepad, copy the text in Notepad, and then paste that text into Vegas? You’ll also have to pick the proper font in Vegas this way.

Sounds like you may have DVDA set up to automatically open the last used project and that project is no longer on your hard drive. You may want to turn off that option in the preferences.

Use the Select Events tool in Tsunami. Makes it easy to select a BUNCH of events across multiple tracks. I use it all the time for selecting all events after the cursor, for example.

Just a difference in the cameras. I see them on my XL-1 cameras as well.

And Excalibur has a “Stereo Split” tool to make that entire process a single button click.

I opened a file that was rendered with the “save markers” option turned on. It was an MPEG2 file with markers saved for creating a DVD. I opened that file in Sound Forge and the markers showed up fine. Now if you just have markers on the timeline but have not rendered, those would not show. After rendering with the “save markers” option turned on, they should appear fine when loading the new file.

Yes, that’s normal. You will have a black stripe of about 4 pixels on each side.

Sounds like you may have turned off “Quantize to Frames”. Please verify that setting is turned ON.

Right-click the link, choose “Save Target As”, and save it in your Vegas 6.0Script MenuExcalibur4 folder. The next time you use Excalibur it will use the new file. Remember, it ONLY works in Vegas 6.0b

DO NOT use this file in Vegas 5 and if you are using 6.0 or 6.0a, upgrade to 6.0b before using this file.

You can either have ALL or NONE. If you choose none, you also lose the audio waveforms. CTRL-SHIFT-W will toggle them on and off in Vegas 6b.

Once you get used to them, you’ll be lost without them.
