You could also try just adding them both to the main timeline, getting them in sync, selecting them both and then pressing “G” to group them together.

The only problem I see remaining at this point is that after you reply to a post, the following now gets appended to the URL:
&remote_logo=&color=CCFF99

Because of this, all “read” posts are no longer marked as “read” unless I back up to the url without the extra stuff appended.

If the camera doesn’t move, have a shot where NOTHING else is visible in the frame. Put that clear image on the second track and the actual footage on the top track. Now simply use the Bezier Masking tool to wipe out the wire and the clear background will show through.

You don’t need to mess with the pan/crop template. Match Apect sets it up to match the project anyway. You should also always render photos at best.

If the stills have fine lines, that will happen because of the interlacing. There’s only a few things that can be done. If you’ve already done “Reduce Interlace Flicker”, you may also try adding a slight blur.

Sounds like you are copying the first event. Done one way, they all become separate. Done the other, change one and you change them all. Make sure to always “Create a new copy” instead of “Create a reference”.

If you’re dragging from the media pool, you’re creating a reference.

If you render with NO effects added and you go from DV-AVI to DV-AVI you will get an exact copy.
