Standard DVDs are MPEG2 so you don’t “choose a format”. It’s already chosen for you.
Use MPEG2 for the video and AC3 for the audio. Adjust the MPEG2 bitrate to fit the length of video you have. You can look through my newsletters (link at the bottom) for more details or do a search here.

Do you have the sync option turned on in the effect? It’s at the very bottom of the timeline. Looks like a cursor with a lock beside it. That’s the sync media button.

Either use Legacy Text or NewBlue Titler. Both will do what you are wanting. In fact, You can just type in the text and the NewBlue titler can type it on for you.

I agree the NewBlue ChromaKey Pro in Video Essentials VI does a great job. As was mentioned, NewBlue is starting to make their plugins available ala carte and Chroma Key Pro is one of the first offerings. Just go to https://www.newbluefx.com/offers/unbundled and you can scroll over to Chroma Key Pro and purchase that single effect or you can purchase the entire VE6 package. Look for more products to be offered individually in the future!

The nVidia GTX 600 is a supported card for Titler Pro. Do not confuse Titler Pro’s use of the GPU with Vegas’. They are totally separate.

Because it’s not completely honest and unbiased. It’s simply your opinion – not the facts as I have seen them – especially over the past 3 – 4 months. Take a look at Grazie’s posts – he’s using Titler Pro 2 just fine and enjoying it greatly. The same is true for the vast majority of Titler Pro users. For those having issues, there have been many great results simply updating to the current version of Titler Pro or updating their video driver.
And, no, Titler Pro cannot run CPU only. It does require a supported GPU to run. The key is a supported GPU/driver. For example, it will not run on an Intel HD series card. It also will not work with a “Mobile” card when it is low powered mode. So forcing the Mobile card to stay in full powered mode when Vegas is running has resolved issues for many more people.
There were many changes made to eliminate issues in Vegas which led to the 121205/121206 releases of Titler Pro 1 and Titler Pro 2. Just today, I’ve seen someone having an issue with Titler Pro 1 update to build 121205 and all started working fine. Yesterday I had someone with issues using a video driver from 2010 having issues. Updating to the current video driver solved the problems they were having.
I understand some of the earlier releases had some issues. But things have changed so much over the past 6 – 9 months and that does not seem to be taken into consideration.

Brent, if you work with us, we’ll work with you to figure out why your specific machine is having issues. Unlike Steve would have you believe, the current version is working well for the vast majority of people and updating to the current version or updating their video driver or changing some settings has helped innumerable users.

Michal, you can also contact NewBlue support and begin a dialog there too. We would need to see exactly what you are doing, what you are getting, and understand what you are expecting. This means we would also need to see the VEG file.
