    Yes, it works in both 15 and 16. The current version works in 14+ which is when Magix changed the required “using” name. So the most current version works in all three of them. The older versions are also available as needed.

  • Many tools can apply that to events including Excalibur and Production Assistant.

    You can also just select all of the audio events you want normalized, right-click one of them, and choose Switches – Normalize. That will normalize all of the selected events.

    It’s probably “sort of” working because the events were all a part of the same clip. If they were parts of different clips, it shouldn’t do anything. However, because they are part of the same clip, I’m sure the script is not checking to see if they really were contiguous.

    I just tested in build 261 doing the following:
    1. Add a clip to the timeline.
    2. Split the event in two places
    3. Copied that split piece multiple times back to back
    4. Selected the original event and several of the copied pieces.
    5. Selected “Event Heal”

    Only the first copied event was “healed” and the rest were not so it really does seem to be working. Are you on build 261?

    You can’t “heal” in that case because it’s not one continuous segment. One way to handle this would be to add a Volume Envelope to the track and then reduce the volume over time. But when you have a short section repeated multiple times, it is impossible to “heal” that because you’re not wanting the original before and after of that segment.

    You have a “Mobile” video card. Mobile cards can work in one of two modes:
    1. Full Powered – compatible mode
    2. Low Powered – not compatible mode

    Therefore, you must make sure that Mobile cards stay in full powered mode when your video editor is used.

  • Yes, Excalibur works in Vegas Pro 16. You need to make sure you have the Vegas Pro 14/15/16 version installed. So just download the current version.

    At the top of the script above the lines you posted will be several “Using” lines. One of them will point to Vegas. You need to use the correct one based on my first post. Your error message indicates the wrong one is being used.

    Vegas Pro 13 uses: using Sony.Vegas;

    Vegas Pro 14+ uses: using ScriptPortal.Vegas;

    Make sure your four points script is using the correct “using” line at the top of the script.

  • Excalibur can take everything that *IS* in a region and then move those to a new track allowing you to then delete the original tracks using the “Extract Good Clips” tool.
