Does Excalibur work with Vegas Pro 15?
Rejoining the forum after a decade off. I sold my equipment when the industry was breaking into HD. I’m now running intel I7 8700K 3.7-4.3Ghz 6 core 32g ram 512g NVMe SSD and 2TB HDD. Primarily interested in editing 4K 60fps and currently have the DJI Phantom 4 Pro+ v.2 drone, but will likely be looking for other equipment in the near future.
I’d like to couple my software with Excalibur. It likely works with Vegas Pro 15 but the website site doesn’t actually mention anything about version 15. I was very happy with it when I was in the wedding vid business using Vegas 7 and DVD Architect. Any words of wisdom about this are welcome. Thanks in advance.

Yes, it works in both 15 and 16. The current version works in 14+ which is when Magix changed the required “using” name. So the most current version works in all three of them. The older versions are also available as needed.

I currently have Vegas 13. If/when I upgrade to a newer version, will I be required to purchase again?

If you purchase Excalibur, I’ll be happy to send you serial numbers for the version that works in 8-13 as well as the version that works in 14-17. And, yes, it does work in 15.
