yes one sata–my settings? everything i do is mostly dv ntsc–does this answer your question correctly?

on waveform, thumbmail, & auto save says 411.1 gig media disk—i named my new hardrive

thanks but i already trashed prefs and still acting funny–that is why i cannot figure out problem.

i know i have a separate drive but what happened was when i trashed preferences and launched final cut again all of a sudden my boot drives says i have 1.95 gig available when i know i have 90gig on boot drive alone.

yes it is Mac OS Extended. my video is hooked up through a jvc dv/dvcam deck firewire. but when i captured through the powerbook i am going in using dv/analog converter (canopus)

which is a stronger internal hard drive do you suggest?
