LOL!! And it seems to be getting worse. Just look at one day’s posts.
BTW, My FCS2 Upgrade came with all manuals. But I’ve heard that FCS3 does not.

[Michael Gissing] “Who needs manuals? Most people just ask the COW and even then they can’t be bothered searching or reading the FAQ.

July 16, 2009 at 6:07 pm in reply to: Fastest Express Card (eSata) for MacBook Pro?

    As Jeremy said, the Sonnet:
Barefeats.com says that the Sonnet Tempo Pro is faster than all others because it uses the Marvel chip instead of the more common SI chip.

    https://www.sonnettech.com/product/temposataproexpress34.html

    This from barefeats.com:
The Sonnet Tempo SATA Pro ExpressCard/34 is unique among SATA ExpressCards in that it is the only true SATA adapter. Other brands say “SATA” but are actually using USB protocols. The result is that the Sonnet Tempo Pro produces much higher transfer rates. For example, when we connected the OCZ Vertex SSD to various SATA ExpressCards, the Sonnet Tempo Pro was 55% faster reading and 103% faster writing compared to the fastest alternative SATA ExpressCard

It needs to go to Beta-SP, but you’re talking about it going to a GV HD700? Which is it going to? I hope it’s not the HD700 then to Beta.

[Tommy Martiniere] “I am editing my television show for the first time and I noticed when it aired tonight that the quality was less than the show before and after mine. I am using FC Studio, Mac Pro Quad Core with 8 gig of ram. The show has to be put on Beta SP and I have tried some different conversions to get the best quality but I am not getting what I want. I have looked through the threads, but have not found exactly what I am looking for. Should I be using a AJA card or something to output it to my Sony GV HD700 Deck? Thanks in advance. I am in desperate need of making this show TOP NOTCH.”

Frame Size has absolutely nothing to do with the bit-rate or file size calculation. You decide that. And when you test a particular frame size at a particular bit-rate, *you* decide if it looks good enough.

[Brian Alexander] “I looked at the calculator that Ed linked to and it’s OK but it’s missing a very valuable piece the bit rate/file size puzzle: FRAME SIZE!”

And post your problem on the Compression Techniques forum. It’s the more appropriate place to find help for compression problems.

You’re welcome, yes, free is good. In the future, you can save us all time by searching this or other forums here first. A search for Mod shows that your question has been asked and answered numerous times already.

I want to play Google too!
Why don’t you just sit back and let us do the searching for you, relax, we love to Google so you don’t have to! 🙂
But, I already knew that MPEG Streamclip converts MODs too,
    and it’s free.

But Craig, what if you’re driving 50 MPH heading east and another car is 10 miles away heading west at 35 MPH, when will you meet up? 🙂
    Ed

[Craig Seeman] “Kind like if you’re driving 50 miles per hour you will travel . . . 50 miles in one hour.”
