June 23, 2009 at 5:19 pmI want to play Google too!
Why don’t you just sit back and let us do the searching for you, relax, we love to Google so you don’t have to! 🙂
But, I already knew that MPEG Streamclip converts MODs too,
and it’s free.https://www.squared5.com/svideo/mpeg-streamclip-mac.html

i just was joking.
Any way you are lucky.
On top of this thread there is a friend asking how to convert an .arf file.
That is more complicated.
Cheers,

June 23, 2009 at 5:29 pmIs seems that is just another MPEG-2 flavor.
May be just changing the extension by .mpg can make the trick.

January 16, 2013 at 1:29 amrename .MOD file to .MPG for importing to FCP6/7 with Log and Transfer.
For FCPX, you can directly get the MOD or renamed MPG to FCP X for further editing
