I want to play Google too!
Why don’t you just sit back and let us do the searching for you, relax, we love to Google so you don’t have to! 🙂
But, I already knew that MPEG Streamclip converts MODs too,
    and it’s free.

[stephen sarsfield] “And the sarcasm! LOL “
    i just was joking.
    Any way you are lucky.
On top of this thread there is a friend asking how to convert an .arf file.
    That is more complicated.
    Cheers,

Is seems that is just another MPEG-2 flavor.
May be just changing the extension by .mpg can make the trick.

You’re welcome, yes, free is good. In the future, you can save us all time by searching this or other forums here first. A search for Mod shows that your question has been asked and answered numerous times already.

rename .MOD file to .MPG for importing to FCP6/7 with Log and Transfer.

For FCPX, you can directly get the MOD or renamed MPG to FCP X for further editing

Signature: Are you Canon EOS C300 users? If so, do you want to get the MXF recordings to FCP 6/7 for further editing?
