- Double-click the audio on the timeline and it will open in the Source Monitor.
- Take note of the In and Out Points.
- Double-click on the original clip in the Project Panel and it will open in the Source Monitor.
- Set the In and Out Points according to your notes.
- Take the video and overlay it on the desired track in the timeline.

P.S. My response was for “view only”, if your recipient wants to be able to edit the files then you will need to send them a format that they can use. Unfortunately, MPEG has many variations, few of which are suitable for editing.
I would recommend using DV for SD and HDV for HD, just to be certain the recipient will be able to use the clips.

You can, but you need to create a standard DVD if you want compatibility.

When you export from PPro you get one audio stream. In other words, what you hear is what you’ve got. There is nothing “hidden” in there that can be accessed after the fact.
The best way to archive your projects is to use the PPro Project Manager such that you keep the project file itself and all required source files.

It will work, but it will be very slow, especially in rendering and exporting.
Your best bet would be to download the trial version and test it for yourself.
