September 4, 2010 at 9:12 pm in reply to: Batch Rendering in Production Assistant QuestionI only know how to batch render (unrelated files) at the same time by placing them all on the time line at the same time, each in its own region so it does not come out as one long file with black in between the clips/programs.
These 30 min teaching programs are for broadcast, Streaming Video, Streaming audio and then a storage master.
I didn’t want to have to do one program at a time in the three formats. I want to do 7-8 different shows at a time in the three different formats just so I don’t have to sit and do them one at a time.
I have gotten backed up and need to render a lot and am trying to figure and automated way.PC

September 4, 2010 at 7:22 pm in reply to: Batch Rendering in Production Assistant QuestionI have 7 1/2 Hour Programs that wanted to render out in regions so that they stay 7 separate programs. But I need to render them each as MP4 (for storage) WMV for streaming video and MP3 for audio.
I wanted to be able to batch this all together leave it and come back tomorrow with 21 new files.Just looking to kill as many birds with one stone as possible.

It edits fine with EX1 -MP4 so I will stick with that.
One more question if I may?
What is the best format for storing and keeping a high quality yet as small as possible file for future use? not know what format I may be ask to render-out to, for broadcasting?PC

Thank you for the sites. These I had already viewed. There is no instruction for chroma keying Video. There is explination for example “button A does this” and “button B does that” but where those are you must hunt for in the maze of a confusing innerface for someone new to the software. https://www.borisfx.com/fx/help/wwhelp/wwhimpl/js/html/wwhelp.htmI didnt want to buy a training serise just to figure out IF a trial version of Boris FX will work for me. I even went to lynda.com, nada!
Now I see why almost all forums I consulted recomended Newblue.
So I have tried NEWBLUE essentials it is user friendly and works very well.PC

Is there any tutorials for Boris FX in Vegas Pro 9 for someone who has never been in Boris (ever)! All I find has the MAC inerface so none of the controls on my trial version match anything I have found online. I hope the product is better than their tutorials!

Sir John
Due to my lack of knowlege. I understood the host system to be my OS! Thank You for correction. Is there any disadvantage to uninstalling my Vegas Pro 9 64 Bit and going to Vegas 9 Pro 32 Bit? any effect on my previous made projects? So that I may run Boris FX.
Is there any disadvantage in the use of my Ram or render time in the 32 bit? Do they both run as effeciently?
Last question (I hope) if it is a green light to go to the 32 bit do I just uninstall it 64 Vegas and reinstall the 32 bit Vegas?
Thank U
