Hey, thanks alot! Ill try it with the particles. Did forget them in my first try.

Here is the first try I did this morning:

    http://www.dinomuhic.com/Hadoken_01_web.mov (900kb)

It’s just me in front of a GS doing some moves for FX tests.

We are filming in HDV, but we can get a Sony recording in HDCAM.
Would this be better for the Green-Screen-Sessions?

Follow ALL field order conventions in AE. If HDV is upper field first, interpret it as such. If SD PAL Widescreen is lower field first, then render lower field first. Rest assured, if you keep the field order straight like that, you will have no problems.

–> So it means I have to interpret it as UFF but then in the render queue dialog choose LFF?

Do I have to import the HDV material into a HDV comp and then let it resize to DVD PAL format when rendering or already put everything into a DV comp and resize it before rendering?

Thank you very much for your help!

  • HI,

thank you for the help! The files are not on a external hard drive, they are in the same folder as the pproj.-File on the PC’s HDD.

But what I have to mention is, that the computer im workin on is in my university and there is a program installed which is called HDD Sheriff and which doesnt let you save or change anything on the system-partition (Premiere is not installed on this partition). Is this somehow relevant to my problem?

    Any more help?
    Thank you

This clip I provided up there is directly from the camera and yes, the quality isnt that bad.
But after scaling it up and time stretching it (play at double speed)the compression artefacts are visible.

Just try it yourself in AE. I don’t have a clue how to solve it, perhaps with blur and unsharp mask?

    Thanks for the help anyway

    Any other ideas?

But is it possible to edit just the audio and get it back on dvd without loosing video quality?
The blood thingy isnt that important…I just care about the sound.

    Thanks
