I don’t know the other cards, you have read and check. I got the intensity card because the pricetag, and as a workaround i do my HD work in AE and preview in realtime on my computer monitor. No problem there… with AE and QT animation codec. Then I render the movie with BM codec and watch it through the intensity card HMI connection to my HD TV.

Intensity can NOT preview HD in realtime in AE. It only works using DV PAL/ NTSC. HDTV 720 x 1280 = gives me 21 frms and 1080 x 1920 = 10 frms.

Hmm, if I don’t use or have FCP and want to record through Soundbooth and/ or premiere. How do I tell the card to go into rec mode.? Right now, I can’t even get a input signal in the sound panel.!?

“Faster CPU’s and more RAM can improve this”… Keh, I got the newest Mac Pro 3.0 MHz, 10 GB of ram, 1TB Raid. How much more speedier set up can you get today.!? It’s a bummer that you can’t get full HD preview on your TV monitor. I bought the card just for that reason. To be able to see my broadcast work through HDMI just as the viewer at home sees it.

Or in systempreference > Intensity. Turn off “Remove field jitter”

Same here with HD… Playback and preview doesn’t work for me either in AE CS3 and Premiere CS3. I got the latest updates 1.8.4, only regular DV works. Wierd.!?
