Thanks for the links. I’ll try these out. They finally accepted a file from me but not before I decided to remove all the color grading and submit the video with the flat colors (Technicolor Cinestyle) straight out of the camera. Wasn’t as pretty but it will have to work for broadcast. I see Samsung doing it so why can’t I? LOL.
    Thanks again!

I appreciate your help Mark. I am familiar with their spec sheet and thought I did everything correctly in applying the broadcast filter in Vegas. However, the Quality Check (QC) keeps saying the black levels are too high. I must be doing something wrong. That’s what I need help with.

    Thanks again.

Thanks for your help on this John. DMDS does indeed accept the .mxf format, and they accepted my rendered file. My only issue now is figuring out how to apply the broadcast colors filter correctly. My black and chroma levels are way too high and applying the 7.5IRE filter doesn’t seem to be working. Maybe I’m doing it wrong.
I did submit this question in another thread.

I was really looking forward to a “happy ending” to this thread. I’m having the same EXACT issue. When I upload my video to DMDS, I get a red flag saying it isn’t drop frame when I know for a fact I selected drop.
I will check my version of Vegas 10? when I get home but can you tell me how to exactly set it to drop?

    Thanks.

PS I wish there was an archive of Sony Vegas user posts that submit videos via DMDS and the troubleshooting of the various issues. I just starting using DMDS and I’d hate to start asking old questions that have been resolved.

I saw that but it doesn’t meet the required specs. It has to be 50Mbps CBR.
How about the mxf with XDCAM HD422? Is that equivalent?
