V10 or 11 – Rendering for TV w/CC
Greetings! In Vegas 10 and 11, I see 609 captions but no 708 captions. Is there a hidden option I am not aware of?
The specs I am trying to render allow me to do one of the following…
(Note: the required bitrate for MTV is 50Mbps)XDCAM HD422 1080i60 CBR
XDCAM HD422 1080p30 CBR
MPEG-2
DNxHDDNxHD is not available within Vegas. MPEG-2 will not allow uncompressed audio. XDCAM EX, the only XDCAM option in Vegas, will not go above 35Mbps.
The absolute CLOSEST codec I can find is the Sony MXF codec with the HD422 1920×1080 24p 50Mbps setting. However, it does not seem to be embedding my closed captioning.
Any thoughts on this?

I am rendering DNxHD for broadcast with Vegas. Google Avid Codecs and just install them.
