The collapse 3d option to my understanding, takes the layer control information from the layers inside your preschool. So, to fix the situation, try to clock the motion blur on the original file or powerful the whole thing and add a pixel motion blur to it.

Do you have a camera in the comp? Check to see if your text is in focus. Also, check to see if the continuously rasterizr layer option is available, and if it is, check it. You could also right click the text and turn it into shape layers or masks for further control.

OK well if parenting the lawyer to the null doesn’t work, if you open the effect options, the magnify effect has a center control. Alt click the stop watch, and parent the x y values to the null xy values

Mr. Soyka has a great point, and I implore you to use that resource he provided you. Personally, I charge 65 an hour for 2D animation, and 75 an hour for 3D. But I have charged as much as 100 an hour for design work or if I have a lot of projects going on at one time. I also typically charge 25-35 an hour for render tone as well and charge back to the client any music licensing fees etc. Hope that helps.

He may not be using effects at all but instead taking long exposure time lapse photographs. If you want to try to mimic with video, first start with low shutter speed, and the try using a multiple layers of effects, have your bottom most be untouched, next later use an echo effect with a fast delay and pixel blur, the a third with a Gaussian blur set to like 5+. The top most layers then should be changed to an overlay, add or softlight blending mode. Give that a try and play with the opacity and see how it works. Or just do long exposure time lapse photos

Will, yes and no. The fresnels are actually pretty good with focusing the light, it was very surprising. It works very similarly to halogen fresnels with a disk to focus. Not as good as an ellipsoidal but still fairly comparable to other girls lights. The van does do help a lot when focused on. Otherwise, you are correct, it is a little harder to control the light with the panels.

add the grain effect to an adjustment layer above the the layer with the motion blur.

I absolutely love my LED lights. I used to use halogen, and you are absolutely correct, they get HOT; LEDs are the way to go as they are dimmable, hold their color temperature, draw less power, produce less heat, and are more efficient at throwing light. There are a lot of USA companies that sell LED lights for 2000 a pop, but I found a great alternative.
You can get a decent kit from came-tv.com
Personally I went with a 4 900watt equivalent set, stands and 2 1500 watt equivalent fresnels for 1700 dollars or less (I can’t remember the exact number). These suckers are bright! Full metal body design, very easy to use.
