I’d start by cleaning your cache and perhaps trashing your prefs. Beyond that, if it’s a really big project with tons of clips, I’d say either try and clean out what you’re not using or add a bunch more RAM to your system if possible.

That is a very tight turnaround – good luck.
All I can speak to is Premiere Pro (duh.) Premiere Pro can accept growing files to allow you to edit while ingesting. We do have a workflow with EVS but I don’t know about Airspeeds – it would depend on what the play out codec is.
Expanded growing file support and this kind of tight turnaround is a focus for Premiere Pro.

drag the clip to the new item button in the project panel and make a sequence based on teh clip aspects. Stabilize as you need and then export it to whatever format you wish (1920×1080). Then reimport the clip and insert into your 1280×720 sequence and ‘scale to fit’. Finally, do your time remap and all should be okay.

QT does include all ProRes decoders. That’s a tricky one. Try cleaning your cache and trashing your prefs to start.

This may or may not help you out, but if you go to the wing menu of the multi-camera monitor, you can disable the preview window of the MCM. Then dock the smaller panel into the interface and you should have a continuously ganged MCM and Program window.

Do you have two monitors? If so, did you change the arrangement at all as to where the video plays? I have seen that secondary monitors on certain cards will have this kind of trouble.

All three of the card vendors are good. I’m Switzerland when it comes to i/o cards. They each have certain advantages.

Download the latest NVIDIA drivers and install them. If you’re using standard WHQL drivers via Microsoft, I find that you sometimes don’t light up CUDA.

I’d say you’re light on the RAM – you’d benefit from at least 16GB. If you’re trying to save a few bucks, you might see if you can configure the Z420 with a supported GeForce card instead of Quadro. THat said, the Q2000 is fine.
