I know this is 9 years later but I might forget and search this topic and end up on this page in another 9 years.

what you can do is copy your mask keyframes, create a new shape layer and paste those keyframes into that shape layer. After that, scaling up will preserve your resolution. This was the issue I had. If you are trying to move a single point along all keyframes, that’s another matter.

I know this is years old but it still comes up in google so here is what I did to make this work.

Apply two textures to your object. One is completely transparent. Just check the transparency channel and leave everything else unchecked. Your second texture will have your image loaded into the Luminance channel and Alpha. In that channel, have Soft and Image Alpha checked. Drag this texture onto your object. Projection is Flat. Tile is unchecked. To move your texture make sure Enable Axis mode is on. (That’s the L shaped thing that is equivalent to anchor point in other programs). I don’t know why that is necessary but it makes moving textures much smoother.

    Adam,
Thanks for responding. I usually don’t expect any life from threads this old. I was expecting a check mark for follow position and follow rotation. I just up the number up from 0 to 100 which worked.

Yikes. This is quite a few versions of C4D ago. Where can I find The Force> Follow Animation section? (version 15)

It’s an even older thread now. I just wanted to confirm that you need to turn off your nurbs to see the weighting on your joints. This is such an easy thing to forget. Thanks for the tip.

This tutorial should help. I’ve gotten this to work twice but what I want now is to have the image stay the same in every frame, not animate as it does here.

I’m also looking for a solution to this answer. I’ve tried several tutorials. Some on this site that use composite tags, but they do NOT work. I don’t mind fussing with alpha channels in Photoshop, but none isolate the shadow.
