normally you would open the usb under the appropriate menu e.g video, music or photo.
then select usb and press display all and then icons are shown for each playable items. {*}
press copy to copy to PS3

at this stage {*} the problem arises my project file doesn’t show as it’s not recognised

haven’t worked much with text animators, v.useful to learn them inside out. guess i need to rush to the manuals

Thanks for the help but some further question if you plesde.

firstly how do i set the penultimate digit from the animators once i get the character offsets? (i’m very inexperienced with text animation).

secondly how would i apply the ‘penultimate digit’ for more than one for number. example in a digital clock or airport information boards

the animator for opacity range selector worked like a beast, just a bit more refining would give me the exact result I’m looking for. i’ve been using after affect for while but it’s taken me long to notice the text animator options -_-

moreover i already precomposed the text animation but i had problems with unwanted text overlapping the text i wanted, so normal masking wouldn’t work but tnks for sharing the knowledge

thanks All,

i used the roto brush same time i applied a track matte, i wanted to expand the outlines of the rota brush but couldn’t do it so i just duplicated the layer blurred it and added a glow (like a glowing outline for the 3dmodel)

sorry i didn’t understand too well, do you mean i should make all the other clips big as the green screen clip? wouldn’t that just make the other DV footage suffer from distortion even more so when they are sort of low quality.

im thinking the only other way would be to reshoot but i can’t do that so im going use the original file and hope it does render well at the end

thanks that worked but..

i was wondering is there a way to convert it and keep the original res of 1920 x 1080?

because when it converts to dv pal it changes res to 720 x something this cause the quality of the i age to drop dramatically and distorts the image since it’s now pushed together
