Sorry, I forgot to mention. You buy white inkjet printable DVDs. There is a program that comes with the printer that makes the whole thing really easy.

We have no idea if you’re capturing via firewire or an analog connection, and we have no idea if you used Easy Setup initially to establish the preferences for your project, or if you just dived in and started changing settings. No one reading your post can figure out how to help you if you don’t provide more of these details. Julie,
Could be bit rate is too high. Could be that you didn’t encode your audio to AC3. Could be bad media as Noah said. Without knowing exactly what your settings we’d all be guessing.

Labels are bad. Get an Epson R200 inkjet printer available for between $49 and $78. They are wonderful, and can’t be beat for price and performance.
