    Problem solved by Mike.

    Thanks Mike.

  • AMD “Cool and Quiet” could cause a similar issue. I am not sure if Intel has a similar driver based performance adjustment. Check out the following link as this relates to the RMclock program and AMD.

To my knowledge PPro doesn’t do mpeg editing unless you have the MainConcept program that supports mpeg editing in PPro. It will crash the program if you try.

    I appreciate the initial comments….

How is this done in Premiere, a video filter? This may surprise you but this is a first for me. I was going to check Imaginate by Canopus, I believe there is a way in Imaginate to fix this.

I have not used audition but I believe I have a current project that it may be very useful.

I am working on a project that is essentially a simulated news report. There are various introductions, interviews, voiceovers, etc. Now that I have the project pieces put together in Premiere I am finding that the audio is all over the place; some scenes use a handheld mic, some use lapel mics, and some use the camera mic. There are hisses, hums, and volume problems to deal with throughout the project.

Does Audition work as a plugin to Premiere, or should I output an uncompressed AVI and work that into Audition separately? Can Audition balance the volume on the project as a whole.

    Thanks in advance.

One more thing: I noticed you can capture video in P-Pro and still run other programs. In AP 6.5 when I am capturing I cannot use the machine, if you try to run another App the capture stops. Is there an override in AP 6.5 for the capture isolation of the machine?

I had this problem, it was a power supply issue.
