click on the timeline to select it, now look over to it’s properties and you will see “end action” and “override”, make sure the “end action” for this timeline is set to return back to the menu. just click on the pickwhip and drag it out and drop it onto the main menu within the project window and then release the pickwhip

re-check all end actions and overrides, and also make sure you have set the “loop” to FOREVER (if you are using a motion menu or video thumbnail buttons

if you only have one timeline then set it’s “end action” to return back to the main menu, or if you have multiple timelines then set the last timeline’s “end action” to return back to menu after playing

Encore sees each seperate timeline as “Chapter One” as that is the title that is assigned to each timeline.
You can add an extra chapter marker at the last second of each timeline, as this will enable the viewer to skip thru them one by one. Only downside to this is that the last second of each timeline wil show before rolling over to the next timeline

delete the offending timeline and then re-import it and then link it all back up again….

  • the dip to black should’nt be so noticeable on the burned disc. Try using a DVD RW disc just to check all is ok before you commit to a DVD R disc.

You mentioned Encore 6.0!!! Encore is only at version 1.5 at this point in time

nope.. Encore don’t support “end actions” for chapter markers. You need seperate timelines

try adding another chapter marker 1 second before the end of each timeline, this will enable the skip of chapters, only downside to this is that the last second of each timeline will show before it rolls over to the proceeding chapter of the next timeline
