Just a quick clarification about P6000’s. We have a limited supply of P6000 boards that are available for outright purchase. We do retain a large pool of boards that support our extended warranty and advanced exchange programs. Customers of Platinum Support contracts should be aware that we have a supply of boards on hand to support these systems into the future.

Doubt it will work. Send along the slot information and I let you know. I know that the XW8200 was a complete redesign of the computer, the 6200 did also, I think.

  • Been at Media 100 12 years. Haven’t heard of this problem and we sold about 35000 PCI cards. Check to make sure you have no other card touching the graphics card (resting next to each other, rubbing together). Other than that I would think you have something else going on with the computer. The only way to prove that it is the Media 100 is to take the card out of the computer and see if you monitor acts up.

    Hi,

The cost is $695 for one year of software updates. 11.5 is technically “released”, the CD’s are being printed as I write this and will be available shortly. If you place an order it would take only a few days to get it to you.

Thanks Floh, of course, Media 100 HD is included. One more thing, you won’t find the 11.5 available for download until after the platinum backship. You will need a new encryption code to run 11.5.

    Perfect timing.

We are about to officially announce Media 100 11.5, Media 100 Producer and Media 100 Producer Suite. So, I’ll clear up any questions you may have.

First off, Media 100 Producer and Media 100 11.5 are technically the same, except for one thing. Media 100 11.5 is for the AJA hardware based systems. Media 100 Producer uses the FireWire port on the Mac for I/O.

Media 100 sw is now called Media 100 Producer. There are new features that have been added to make Media 100 sw into Media 100 Producer, most notably FireWire I/O and P2 Import. Media 100 Producer Suite is bundled with Red version 4. Media 100 Producer costs $795 and Producer Suite costs $1295. Both are available now on the BorisFX store (www.borisfx.com).

If you purchased Media 100 sw, BorisFX-Media 100 is offering a discounted upgrade to Producer for $249. You can also upgrade from sw to Producer Suite for $749. This is a limited time offer until November 30th. If you wanted to upgrade you should do this soon.

Media 100 11.5 is an upgrade to Media 100 11.0. If you purchased Platinum Software Updates or received platinum as part of your Media 100 11.0 AJA OEM purchases you should receive your upgrade via mail by October 30th.
