Easier to shoot it.
Open WaveWorld to create your simulation using the floor and dry settings. Apply the rendered grayscale movie to Colorama and add Caustics. Create the sand with a photo or generous investment of time in the Noise generation systems. AE is not really a simulation system for this kind of stuff unless you can tolerate the time to get it right or the inescapable stylization of AE’s simulations.Honestly: “Shoot it or buy it.”

Not for beginners but, if you can pull it off, you won’t be a beginner any longer.
Make the scene 3d, add a light, add the Wiggle expression to the intensity of the light.Do you have any third party AE books at your disposal? Start taking them to the gym with you.

I always start with Shatter when I need anything that resembles a realword physical illusion. Getting stuff to blow away is ridiculously complex if your needs for reality are greater than AE can deliver. There are several text animation presets that can be run backwards that will simulate wind. However, Shatter will actually assign different reaction masses and inertia to differently sized objects.

We see inquiries about the iMac daily. A quick search will get you tons of interesting comments. You can ignore any from me.
My basic answer remains, “I don’t recommend the iMac because it has no expansion or update capabilities for drives or cards. You can rapidly end up in a technological deadend that could easily be escaped from by adding an accessory to a desktop Macintosh.”

Do yourself and your employer a huge favor by investing in at least two of the major Macintosh OS10 bibles. If you’re coming from Windows, you will immediately recognize the stuff that MS ripped off but on the Mac it works differently, I’m not going to say it works better but your previous experiences must be discounted, your expectations discarded, your keyboard and mouse reflexes must be retrained.
