Newest version/updates for Final Cut Studio Pro…??

Could anyone inform me of the newest version/updates for Final Cut Studio Pro…?? Not sure if my software is keeping up to date or not and I don’t trust wikipedia’s info.

Thanks for the response…. I’ve run an update and it had downloaded a .dmg file to my desktop?? sorry i’m new to macs… going to learn final cut for work purposes…. shall i just open it? and apply the serial i’ve been given?

November 18, 2008 at 1:11 pmMaybe, maybe not. No idea what the file is or whether you want it or not. You’re not giving any information so there’s no way to tell. What’s the computer exactly? What’s the file that was downloaded? What version of FCP are you using? What version of the OS? What version of QuickTime?

I don’t remember have seen that never before.
When you run “Software Update” normally you get a “.pack” file. This if you choose “Install and save package”.

November 18, 2008 at 4:10 pmDo yourself and your employer a huge favor by investing in at least two of the major Macintosh OS10 bibles. If you’re coming from Windows, you will immediately recognize the stuff that MS ripped off but on the Mac it works differently, I’m not going to say it works better but your previous experiences must be discounted, your expectations discarded, your keyboard and mouse reflexes must be retrained.
