Can you further explain what you mean by unwanted background, and what you mean exactly by maps.

Sorry man, not sure if there is a way to easily do that. When I create complex textures (with star patterns etc) I make them in Illustrator. Maybe that would help

Maybe? It sounds like we both have the stock video card… but then again, so does just about everyone who has that computer and uses Maxon… so, It seems there would be more people complaining. I’m not at work, try exporting to the same drive that your program is running on?

What do you mean “complex gradients?” What would you like to do that you can’t do with the gradient selection in textures under color in your material editor?

PS, you can save materials for later if you make one you like,

No, I have not. I have talked with Maxon on the phone twice. I uploaded the file to them and they were able to export just fine.

I took the file home and it was able to be exported just fine. So, they said my best bet was a re-install.

So, lets compare and see if there are any similarities.

    Problem machine:
    8 core Mac Pro
    OSX 10.6.8
    32Gigs Ram
Programs, startup disk and the export location are all on separate drives. This shouldn’t be a problem, but just in case.
    Nvidia video card.

I can’t think of any other variables.

Go with the foundry camera tracker for a low end track. I went for PFHoe at first and am not very happy with it.

    PS, I found this….

    https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/19/864833

Which works in cinema, but is still not compositing in after effects with movement.

There is a way to add a collider tag and not have any gravity effect it. after frame one, all collided objects bounce off each other and stay in place. I honestly forget how I did it, but I’d mess with that. Just make sure bounce is low so you don’t get any unwanted wiggle action.

try putting the original sequence below all your blocked out object buffers, this will fill in the gaps.
