What I do in Vegas Pro is I select all the audio tracks for rendering, and then render out to the AC3 format.
Good luck!

August 31, 2011 at 9:03 am in reply to: Sony DVD architect Studio ac3 audio unsupportedOut of curiosity, have you tried rendering your audio separately? That is, in your project just render to an AC3 file? The video should be ignored.
In any version of Vegas Pro one can do this, but not sure about Movie Studio 11.

Seems to me like you’re going to have another project on your hands — soloing each track and then reenabling them one by one until you discover which track has that video segment.
This is why we love video editing. 🙂

Have you tried doing a search on YouTube for tutorials?
Also, there’s tutorials on Sony’s website.
Just being able to watch the first minute or so of the movie you posted, it doesn’t seem too complex. Other experts within this forum might be able to give a better idea, but from what I see:
1) The “fog” could just be a separate movie clip that repeats (or is just one long clip)
2) the text that fades in/out and moves is just “text” media with each the fading/movement for each group of text motions specified like you would any other object — keyframes. Start point -> end point. Transparency same thing: 0% -> 100% or vice versa depending on whether the text is fading in or out.
Hope that helps for a starting point!

Would you be able to post a screen capture of your project so we can see what’s happened?

If it can’t find the audio/video files contained within the project, it should pop up error messages during loading saying something to the effect of it cannot find xyz media file.

Do you have the photos set to fill the space? Or maintain their original size?

No, you shouldn’t have to make a giant movie.
How do you have your playlist set up?
Can you upload a screen capture?

Something else to try that was reported in another thread I was reading (I don’t think it was on CreativeCow here)… reduce the amount of RAM you have for “Dynamic Ram Preview”.
Go to “Options”, then “Preferences”, and select the “Video” tab.
For kicks, put the RAM preview at something like 512 or 1024MB, restart Vegas, and see what happens when rendering out to the AVC with rendering options set to AUTOMATIC or GPU.
