The IO is not certified for FCP 5. New drivers are on there way.

I’m having the same problem with footage I shoot with the FX-1. Two frames are missing everytime the camera stops and starts. At least that what it shows in the Browser.

I don’t have any sources that I can sync but I put 4 random clips together dragged it to the timeline and was cutting between angles. I think the mutliclip function rocks. What is your exact problem?

I did a clean install and put in just FCP and Motion and FCP was crashing and when we tried to do a round trip to Motion none of the effects came back to FCP in th Motion file. I’m going to wait a little while, were back on 10.3.8 and everything is fine again.

RED is intergrated but it depends on your capture card as to whether you see RED on your monitor. We use the AJA IO and we have to turn off external viewing if FCP before we go into RED to be able to see RED on our monitor. Motion is intergrated in FCP very nicely. The rendering in RED is very slowwwww compared to Motion.
