Squeeze 4.5 comes with VP6, does the interlacing and will allow you to adjust your levels for web all in one place! Works great for us! Since you own Squeeze 4 it is either a free upgrade or very small fee.

I received the same message after logging footage on a DVCAM deck, DSR-45. When I went to batch the clip the message popped up. The footage seemed to come in fine but it was a quick turn around so I couldn’t double check the clips against the code. I am running FCP 6.0.1 on a Mac Pro 2.66 Intel with OS X 10.4.9

I am running a G5 dual 2 Gig, no problems playing back any video. You must have a bad install. Render times are awful on a G5 dual 2 Gig!

Has anyone else done a clean install of the OS and of FCP 6? I did and all my weird problem in FCP 6 went away so far (one day of testing).

We have been loosing renders when we export a frame from the timeline. Haven’t seen the problem when opening.

The XDCAM file are about the same size a DV = 3.6 mb a second that’s about 30 gig for each hour. You could fit 8 hours of footage on a 250 gig hard drive. Just edit the native XDCAM files then take your project and hard drive to an FCP online bay and finish the project.

Why do you make flv files, why not swf? The way I understand it, flv is the part of an swf that makes it play, you’re saying the flv’s work on there own? What about controllers?”
SWF files audio will get out of sync after a curtain length so that why most people use FLV’s. It is an extra step but we take the FLV into Flash and it adds the SWF controller and Flash will create a html page for to upload.

Go with Flash! Squeeze does a great job. If your client don’t have the flash player it installs in less than a minute with no restart.
