Have you tried reseting the camera? We have two and were going through the menus changing setting and we lost focus on both cameras. Not sure what menu or menus that made it happen. We reset both cameras and the focus came back. Haven’t recreated it, haven’t really tried.

We had a NTFS drive in our shop and it loaded under 10.5.4

We just bought 2 – 32 gig Sony cards from Shaine at Media Distributors in LA. The price was good.

Sorry that the current updates didn’t solve your problem. Question, did you update to 10.5 or clean install to 10.5?

Are you getting a spinning beach when you try to play a motion file in FCP? I was having that problem and when I upgraded to all the most recent updates the problem went away.

I get 2x – 2.5x from my camera all the time using the Sony transfer software. I did see a slight slow down with the latest version of the transfer software, but still get 2x.

The Play Station is a lot harder to use the remote than a Blu-ray DVD player. We use the Sony S-300 and it works fine. The S-300 can turn off on screen control displays which is very important for projection.
