I know very little about Edius, but reading the what’s new in v6, a lot of the functions listed have been in FCP for a while. I think FCP needs work, but it nice to see features being added to other systems that FCP already has.
Timeline features new to Edius:
Drag & drop to change mapping
Track sync on/off
Select multiple tracks and edit on selected tracks only
Nudge clip on timeline (shortcut)
Trim by mouse and keyboard

We had the same issue once since we have had the EX-3 over the last year. It was very obvious in the coat of a person being interviewed. Below is a note from another list from Carey Duffy at Tiffen.
we found that a Far (visible) Red cut filter will be required to correct Far Red IR pollution on the EX1 & EX3, so temperature correction / white balance is relevant not only to light source but also to combat your Far Red IR filter’s colour cast. To eliminate your light sources IR contamination, which shows up on manmade black fibres.

Will be interesting to see your other design, but I really like that you are adapting to a VCT-14 plate. 25 years of using that plate makes it second nature for quick release.

I do this all the time with my Lhe. The control panel needs to have the audio set to analog not SDI. I don’t know about the reference issue because we have always had reference feeding the system. Make sure the output of your mixer is feeding the inputs on the card. I believe the AJA input is a line level. Are you sending line level out?

One theory is a German director, transplanted to Hollywood (probably Ernst Lubitsch, but possibly Fritz Lang), was asked by a script supervisor how he would like to shoot the next scene of the day. The director responded “Mit out Sprechen!”, and so this was noted as a joke on the production reports and the camera slates for the shot.
Documentary, news and reality shows have added to the meaning of MOS to mean “Man On Street” which are random interviews from the public. This may have happened when a few too many film producers stumped their interns by using the term with no requested or given explanation. So the interns, turned video producers, changed “MOS” to the opposite meaning.

AJA has confirmed the bug that the control panel switches back to 525. They say it is only with the Lhe which I have. I trashed the prefs a couple of times, then gave up and went back to 7.1.
