that shouldn’t be a problem. if you click on your window menu at the top of the screen, you should see paragraph about half way down the drop down menu, make sure that is ticked.

you should now be able to allign you text how you want it in the paragraph window that should now appear in ae.

HIYA, APOLOGIES FOR THE CAPS, I’M RENDERING.

    ERR SHADOWS…..

I ONLY REALLY EVER USE 2 DIFFERENT METHODS FOR SHADOWS, YOU MAY HAVE ALREADY TRIED THEM, BUT METHOD 1: IS TO USE CC SLATE, THATS PRETTY GOOD, AND THEN METHOD 2: WOULD BE TO DUPLICATE YOUR KEY, ADD TINT EFFECT AND USE MASKS.

HOPE THAT HELPS, BE GOOD TO THE FINAL OUTCOME.

  • i think, if you highlight all the keyframes you want to shorten hold alt and drag the last keyframe in your comp that’ll move the keyframes closer together whilst still maintaining the gaps between keyframes.

i agree with Chris, it’s not that noticeable.
the only way i can think of apart from blurring it out is extremely time consuming; and that would painting it out frame by frame. headache of a job.

    sorry

Hiya, not 100% sure i can help, but i remember watching a tutorial a little while ago about using 16bit or 32bit colour. it pushes whites further then 255 and blacks below 0, not sure if it’d work on a solid mind, but maybe worth looking into.

    hope this helps.

    thank rene,

i had this query posted on the final cut forum also, and they came up with a couple of suggestions there. i’ve managed to bodge together a solution, it’s not perfect but it’ll do.

i’ve stretched my video footage so it matches the audio, the audio still slips a little, but i can persevere with it.
it’s only going in a small window anyway, so hopefully it won’t be that noticeable.

thank you for your suggestion, i have tried doing that and its still out, simply because its just out whenever i play it on my mac full stop.
i tried downloading mpeg streamclip for pc and converting it there, but it wouldn’t even open the file.

i’m just gonna crack on with it in its current state i think, as the deadline is pretty tight!

    thanks again!

    thanks again.

i have already done what you said to do david. it’s not perfect but i can persevere with it.

downloaded mpeg streamclip for the pc, and it says that it is an unrecognisable file and unable to open.

i’m just gonna crack on with it guys, quite a tight deadline!

    cheers for the help anyway
