Shorten all layers and keyframes proportionally in a comp
I’ve seen this before but can’t find it here or on the web. I have a comp with multiple layers, and each layer is keyframed and linked to a parent layer. I need to shorten the whole comp by 15 seconds, but maintain all proportions between keyframes and links to parent. How do I do that?

i think, if you highlight all the keyframes you want to shorten hold alt and drag the last keyframe in your comp that’ll move the keyframes closer together whilst still maintaining the gaps between keyframes.

Another possibility is to precomp all the layers together and apply time remapping to the precomp layer (cntl+alt+t). Just drag the last keyframe back 15 seconds.

A very cool way to shift keyframes in time and maintain their proportionality to relative to one another is to highlight all the keyframes you want to move in time. Then with all the keyframes highlighted, wether you want to move them forward or backward in time, grab the first or last keyframe, hold the alt key and drag. This maintains the relative time between keyframes proportionally and allows you to lengthen/shorten your timing without losing your accuracy.

This doesn’t seem to be working in AE CC. I’m holding Alt and it just moves all the selected keyframes non-proportionally. Help!
