At home I am testing with a sony broadcast crt, a Sony LMD-232W HD Studio Monitor and a consumer projector the optima hd20. At the office I use a christie 2k projector, crt and plasma.
Yes I’m using the DeckLink HD Extreme 3D I/O card.. It has dual link sdi and hdmi outputs.

Its great to see you have come to the dark side. ( its black magic) Thanks for the updates on your progress.
I was reluctant to show to much of my progress / screens shots until the products release date. I guess they have no issues with that. I have created several documented workflow suggestions form my past 5 years rocking the knobs on the resolve. I will have them published very soon.What kind of performance are you getting on 2k dpx frames using 1 video card??
i found very low speeds using the dvi output from the 4800 pr gtx285.Darin Wooldridge

I’m a little surprised at your statements. Just because final cut color wont play sound it doesnt make it right. I am asked to playback with sound for DI review all the time at Technicolor. Every color suite / telecine bay I have worked in for the past 17 years has had the ability to playback sound.
With todays advanced technology we should be able to do just about anything the client wants.
I’m so glad I will never need to open COLOR again.. :))

I’m not Robbie, but i have used it many times.
No offset, just let run. Add to scene detector (right click) from browse_hit start detection let it run. It does its pass of detection at full sensitivity and allows you to pick level of sensitivity at any time during the process. (move the green bar toward the bottom of the notch widow to add more sensitivity. See the cuts grow on the right side of the page with time code locations) White line = a cut. Start checking your notch as it is running. Us the N and P key (next and previous) taking you shot to shot.. If you see 3 alike frames above hit – to remove the cut. After the process is done hit split. This splits all of your media in the media pool. To the conform page_create default time line. Start time code at the location of choice. (1hour, reel 1 etc..)
