Put one on video track one, and the other on video track two.
Double click on the first clip in video track one.
In the viewer go to the motion tab and adjust the size to what you want.

If you want a background other than black, move those two tracks you
presently have to tracks two and three, then put some other source
on track one.

Probably, and this is just a guess, that one camera was running
in non drop frame mode and the others were running in drop frame,
or the opposite. This will show up as the minutes roll on.
Fo 30 seconds or a minute it will be no problem but after a while
you will not see a match between the cameras.

If this is the case, let me know and I’ll tell you how to fix this.

do you have four little lights on the front of the edit to tape window
to show all four audio channels enabled?

If you go to audio/video settings, AV devices, is there a check in the box
“different output for edit to tape/print to video? If so, uncheck it.

You don’t load the multiclip into the viewer, you drag it to the sequence.
Then you play and switch between the cameras in the viewer.
Or you load the multiclip into the viewer and then just overwrite (red button)
what’s in the viewer into the sequence, the do the same as I a mentioned.
Is this what you are doing? And it still doesn’t work?

Are there issues with green screen chroma keys with DVCPRO HD?
We are doing more and more of that for our testimonial shoots.
When I offline at DV the chroma key didn’t look too good, even when I
used the Nattress 411 filter. Then after the uprez to uncompressed timeline,
the keys using Boris Continuum looked very good.
Would I get better chroma keys in an uncompressed HD timeline versus
DVCPRO HD timeline?

You master out your project at DVCPRO HD?
So this is an acceptable format for your cable network client?
That’s good news. I guess I had been reading there were issues
with DVCPRO HD as a finishing format. Kinda like BetaSP to acquire
and DigiBeta to finish. Not a good analogy with DVCPRO HD to D5
for instance?

FCP 5 and above has multicam editing available.

I didn’t understand that from the naming sequence.

So Walter, you use the 5 drive unit, and like it?
Doesn’t seem like enough storage for HD.
Do you find 3.5 TB to be enough?

A question if I may:

If you go to the CalDigit site, it says 450MB/s in the performance mode ( I assume
this is RAID O ) and 250MB/s in the protected mode (assuming this might be
RAID 5 ?). Your review numbers are in the 200s and above for all the systems.
Were your tests all done in protection mode? Or am I reading their ad wrong?
