Not sure why it’s not working.

I’ve assigned Tracks 1 & 2 on my timeline to output to 3&4 via the rightclick setting on the grey area of the lock icon, but…..

In the Tool Bench, when I play my sequence it still comes out on channels 1&2.

When I scrub the timeline Channels 3&4 Show levels.

    what am I misisng here???

    thanks,

Are your Audio Output settings in your Sequence Settings set to Stereo (default) or 4 channel?

Whats strange is when I click the Downmix Button on the audio mixer, the levels will come out on 3&4 and will also show up on 3&4 on the mixer.

But when I go to Insert Edit, NO levels come out. Not even the Bartone, even though I was able to preview both bartone and sequence levels.

    ???????????????????????????

do you have four little lights on the front of the edit to tape window
to show all four audio channels enabled?

If you go to audio/video settings, AV devices, is there a check in the box
“different output for edit to tape/print to video? If so, uncheck it.

From the scrubbing issue it sounds like it could be weirdness with audio renders.

    – Select all the Audio (ONLY!) clips
    – Press Ctrl-B (to disable the clips and break link to render files)
    – Press Ctrl-B again (to enable the clips)
    – Now try it
