I have Black Magic Ultra Studio 4K with the latest drivers. I worked with BMD and found that I was still having frame drop issues with and without the UltraStudio installed.
How do you disable GPU renderer? In previous versions there were was to enable Cuda and other settings, guess those are gone and just ON for good now as part of the new optimizations?
Tried it with Pro Res 4444 HD 2997 and it will happen with ANY lumetri adjustment (frames dropping).
Have also tried it with 4K Pro Res HQ with same results.
Did a Render In to Out and that solves it but I do not understand why I am dropping frames from a basic color change.
As you can see from the specs I am using the best technology available on the Mac platform (however that’s not saying much anymore).While I have you, why does Render Selection or Render Effects no longer do anything other than cause the timeline to play?

It doesnt allow a render. Highlight it and render and it just plays back the clip with dropped frames and all.

Finding that many of the clips that were shot 29.97 and interpreted to 23.976 have all gone back to 29.97 interpretation after moving the project to another machine. (same version of CC) Switching the interp back to 23.976 does not fix the in points. Adobe WTH? Meet with Canon and work out your MXF issues please. I love losing 10 billable hours.

Great. Tried DNXhd as it is one of the few options Adobe gave us. And it hangs up and stalls about 3/4 of the way through.

Found it. It is a brand new update. However it does not allow to transcode to ProResHQ. Dammit. Isnt anything going to work out for me today?

Thanks for the feedback! My Kensington Expert Mouse Pro Trackball doesnt have a middle button, but I did find that pressing down on the scroll wheel and moving the trackball will reposition the zoomed in viewer.

Wait I found you can adjust the softness points individually , but only if zoomed to a certain level on the viewer. If the points are too close together it groups them all. CTRL + several times and you can grab the points individually. That is what I was looking for. Now if I could just pan the viewer window to see the points that are outside the zoomed region.

Cant have a hard edge on one side of a Power Curve and a soft edge on the other.

Looking to take clips on the timeline and have them all be put in a bin. So NEST the whole timeline, and then drag the nest and it will create a bunch of individual sub clips? I can edit from the sequence as a source, but cant seem to make a sequence into a bunch of subs.
