Check and see if the workaround I suggested does the job.

Do you get any video on the DV deck (not in the export mode)?
If so, you can manually start recording on the deck and just run the timeline, so it’ll record your video.

Ya, I thought about reinstalling premiere to fix the problem, but hoped for a less drastic solution… 🙂
    Thanks a lot.

EDL only give reference to the clip timecodes.
now you’ll have to re-capture all of them (like batch capture)
    so they become linked.

Just connect a Betacam recorder to your PC via digital-analog converter (video card, camera FW etc.) and play the timeline while recording manually. This way you avoid the DVD and get best results.

    Hello Vince,
Editing is done in PP1.5 and than export to DV tape.
The tape transferred by hardware (don’t remember the manufacture) to NTSC DVD. I also tried Canopus’ Procoder 2 but the results are the same. It has definitely worse than before.
    PAL DVD is OK.
    Thanks

    Steven, I salute you!
Only a few months ago I moved to SP2, because of all kind of problems
and got this annoying delay. Although most of the rime I edit with one monitor, when I have clients coming I connect a TV monitor and of course I had this trouble.
Luckily I read your thread and solved the problem.
    Thank You, Thank you.

    Thanks Willie,
I went to a recording studio here and they used a filter (I think it was something like d10 or dx10 – have to check with them again)which cleaned it a bit.
