Thanks Mike, but this would be before (I guess)I installed wmp11. wouldn’t that remove it too?

This may disable WMP 11, but if it fixed your burner problem, then you will know who the culprit is. You can always reinstall wmp 11.
Maybe it is the order of installations. Try reinstalling Premiere after installing wmp 11.
I have 11 on one PC and Premiere 2 sees my burner.

Ya, I thought about reinstalling premiere to fix the problem, but hoped for a less drastic solution… 🙂
