My Mac died almost a year ago and I just can’t find a reason to get another. All the Horror stories about FCP X, no onboard USB 3, cant edit 1080 60p, all of which I need. I have two i7 PCs, one desktop and a Sony Vaio i7 laptop with Vegas Pro 10 and CS5. I don’t need anything else. This Vaio laptop with Vegas 10 edits native 1080 60p .mts files with what looks like realtime preview, (no effects). It was just over $900. I built my desktop i7 for under a grand and use the Shuttle with it. What do you want??

  • My new Vaio i7 laptop edits the AVCHD files with ease. There are several ways to get the full 20 gig files back and forth without splitting and stiching. LIke I stated Yahoo instant messenger and Team Viewer (both free) have the ability to tranfer large files like that. Hope this helps, Danny Hays

  • Google file splitter, I had it once and it split avis without rendering.

  • Yahoo instant messenger lets you drop large files on the chat window, peer to peer. No file size limit.

I learned something today. I thought it was only 720 60p. That’s what I love about these forums.

You could keyframe in some smooth pans and zooms.

Try capturing them again and see if it happens at the same places. Do you have another cable you can try?

Click custom and lower the bitrate until it’ll fit on a 4.7 DVD.

I would set the project settings to the format of your best quality clips. If that’s progresive, then I would deinterlce the others and then add them to the timeline.
