I’m running a Presonus Firepod, 8 channels plus spdif and using Firepod ASIO 64 bit drivers with Pro 10 fine.

Also unless your dual head card has a composite out, I’ve never seen a crt with a VGA, DVI or HDMI input.

You can’t even buy a crt tv anymore. Almost everyone has flat panels of some sort. I use a computer monitor and a 46″ Samsung LED tv.

Absoutly. I have a Presonus Firepod and two inspires and Vegas works great with them.

You cna also drag the edges of a video event to shorten it to the desired length.

Johns right. Vegas was just audio for the first few versions. It sees dx and vst plugins. No need to leave Vegas unless you need virtual instruments.

You can also drag the adges to trim an event to the size you want.

Also with standard text, you can just use another track for the different color letter.

They have some small dots on each tab, upper left, you can crab from.
