You can just turn down or mute the master channel of your soundcard for the audio. you can minimize the capture app or drag the vodeo section off the screen if you don’t want to see what your recording, but just out of curiosity, why would you do that?

I have to say thats a personal preference. I would look for something similar on TV and see what you like, Font, size, letter spacing time allowed to read and placement and then make some of your own to suite your needs. Hope this helps. Danny Hays

I dont believe you can hear the clip while shortening or lengtening it in Vegas, but you can use the scrub tool over the audio track to hear it and hit the m key to make a marker. then drag the video clip edge and it will snap to that marker, asuming you have spapping turned on.

Are you using SD or HD? Either way I would try the WMV 3 mbps for SD and 4.8 Mbps for HD. The file size limit i think is still 100mb per upload, which should be no problem at all for a 2 min video. If this take anywhere as long as before, There’s something really wrong.

Try this, try to open it by double clicking the aep file itself. Then select choose application if AF isnt showing. navigate to the AF install directory and select AF start icon, then check always use this app. This should give all your aep icons the AF icon and assiciate them with AF in the future. Hope this helps.

You right, I was mistaken. Sorry, That was a different pluggin I was thinking of, Keylight. I would try the 30 free trial of Video Enhancer, don’t let it’s price fool you. I’ve been able to get better results with it over Topaz in some cases. Click on the bottom link of my post above and see the diffferences in the two.

I believe this can be done in most NLE’s. It looks like these sections have a black and white plugin with high contrast, along with repeating several frames for each flash along with sections of black between. Hope this helps. Danny Hays

Hello, I’ve been researching this as we at Universal Orlando are replacing our queue line monitors with LCD HD TV’s and it’s not feasible to replace the source content with new HD footage. I’ve experimentened with Topaz Enhance $249.00 plugin for AF or FCP or Avid. Also with Video enhancer, a $29 stand alone program.

I’ve found that the results really depends on the source footage and what problems it has. Like really fast moving visable interlacing, or compression artifacts like blocking can be improved fairly well. On the other hand, high quality SD footage is harder to improve in my opinion so far. I’ll post any new info on this subject as I find it. I’ll also be looking for all your opinions on this as well. Hope this helps. Danny Hays -
What program are you using to make the m2t file? Most NLE’s will export to m2t. After effects will too I believe, under the blueray preset, then select transport stream. The audio is included in an m2t file. m2t files are 1440 x 1080 w/pixels 1.333 Hope this helps.

Place a shortcut to squeeze in the startup folder to get Windows to launce what booting. If the “watch” feature is launced from squeeze, then there should be a setting in the preferences for that. If there is a seperat utility to launch watch with, put a shortcut to that in the same startup directory. Hope this helps. Danny Hays
