Im downloading your video right now, Vegas’s chromakeyer is very limited especially without perfect lighting. You could however use the pluggin twice to key out what the first missed. If you have green spill on the edges of your subjet, Vegas can’t help there. There is no spill suppression in Vegas’s keyer. NewBlue makes a fair keyer with spill suppression for not too much. Boris makes a better one. You will not get results like you can with Adobe Ultra or Keylight, which comes with After Effects 7 and later. They’re far superior in my opinion.

By defalut, there is a compressor in each audio track you create. You can set the compressor in one to your likings and save it as a preset for that compressor. Then set the compressor in the other tracks to the saved preset. If you merge them, you lose the ability to change the level of any one or two if needed, and you usually will. Open the project with all the files in it, save as, and check in the bottom left, “Copy media”. You have the option to copy the full media clips or just the parts used in your project, with up to 2 second handles and each end. Hope this helps, Danny Hays

You can lasso all the parts you want to move or click each while holding down Ctrl, when they’re all selected you can click the “G” key to lock them together, Move them to where you want. “U” to unlock them. Hope this helps, Danny Hays

What kind of format are they requesting for the film Fest? What will they be playing the file with? Have you tried .WMVHD? Any fast computer can play them back very smoothly and I’m sure I could get better quality video, without the blocking artifacts in .WMVHD unless your source video has it. I just rendered a 1920 x 1080 60p video captured from a Panasonic HDV-TM700 in WMVHD and it looks better than anything I’ve seen yet played from a computer, now a DVS server would look better. I just need 62K$ for a pronto 2k modified to play 1080p60. LOL I would just render a Uncompressed avi and let them encode for their server.

Just checked out the video at 720p and there are compression artifacts where you may be able to get better. What format and rez did you upload to Youtube. John Rofano can give you the best settings to render to for youtube. He’s one of if not the best Vegas leader here at the cow. Hope your following this threaad and help out.

Actualy, I think it’s good. I would have to hear the wave to compaire but for internet streaming, What do you want. Why didn’t you use the wave file instead of the mp3? I gather you can hear a difference. Also Great band and song!!
