What is your source frame rate(s), and output frame rate?
It could be that you’ve shot in, say, 25p and rendered in 30p.

    24p really means 23.976 fps.

I’m sure the third value is to do with the Pixel format. If you think of x and y vectors, it sort of a z vector; a measurement of how ‘deep’ each pixel is. I think. The higher the bit depth, the richer the colours.

Render your audio in Dolby Digital .ac3 5.1 surround, or Sony Perfect Clarity Audio .pca and choose Mono (Multiple).

Yes, choose Sony AVC/MVC. You’ll find Entropy Coding options are CAVLC and CABAC, which are used for H.264.

    My favourite rendering format!

Youtube, in 3D mode, allows Red/Cyan, Green/Magenta, Blue/Yellow and also the crosseye.
It can also interlace the frames for viewing on 3D TV.

    Red/Cyan is most popular though.

    I believe this should work.

    Start, Run…, enter:

    C:Documents and Settings[WINDOWS USER]Local SettingsApplication DataSonyVegas Pro10.0

You should find all of your autosaves here. Vegas autosaves very regularly.

    Alternatively, you can go manually:
My Computer > C Drive (or wherever) > Documents and Settings, click your username etc and follow the directions I stated earlier.

You will have to have hidden file visibility enabled to see folders like ‘Local Settings’ and ‘Application Data’.
To enable this, open any folder in explorer.
Tools > Folder Options… > Choose View tab > Choose Show hidden files and folders under ‘Hidden Files and Folders’ on the list.

    Absolutely!

When your corrections are set, you can save it as a preset by typing a name you wish to call it and saving.

You can now access these same settings in the Video FX Tab, to click and drag:

Or load the settings in the colour correction plugin’s drop down list:

    Hope this helps!

I’m sure you could upgrade to V10 without having to pay the full price.
The Vegas 10 stabiliser is pretty decent, especially when your shutter speed is fast.
